This company has been stealing customers from our company for quite some time. By law, they are not even allowed to pick up at the airport without a reservation. After you give in to their sales pitch, they can give a twit about their promises and your expectations as long as they get paid. They usually give our stolen customers a big discount in order to get any money. According to the law, you did not have to pay, as you were picked up illegally. They, however need to be turned into The "Hawaii State Transortation," (Airports Division), for operating outside of their permit restrictions; and to the Public Utilities Commission, for several other violations. They do not provide the Aloha we are trying to show our visitors. Sorry for your experience. Please come back! Airport-Island Shuttles, -ron

I arrived from the States with one and one half hours to get to my hotel and be at a formal function one day in November 2008. The driver of Kahala five star shuttle promised repeatedly that my hotel would be the first stop, and he pleaded with me to let him have my business intsead of going with a regular cab company. During the ride to the hotel, the driver got out and "Chuck" took over. Although we and all the other customers in the van informed "Chuck" that we were to be the first stop, he refused, and instead, we were the last to reach our hotel, 45 minutes behind schedule. My friend and I decided that since we had been lied to and given poor service, "Chuck" was not going to get paid. When we reached our hotel and informed "Chuck" of our decision, he attempted to grab my suitcase out of my hand to prevent me from taking my belongings and leaving. Then he started telling the hotel employees not to let me go to my hotel room. I told him he needed to get his supervisor on the telephone, and he said he was going to call the police. The police came to my hotel room. Chuck and the police waited downstairs for an hour while we got ready for our formal event. We were then told by the police that if we didn't pay up, we would be arrested. The next day I called the office of Kahala five star shuttle. The janitor, Mathew, answered the telephone. He said that a refund would be waiting at the front desk of our hotel that evening. Yet another lie.
