Arancino also has delicious home-made desserts and all of its wines and beers are from Italy. Known by locals as a "hidden gem in Waikiki", Arancino was voted to be the #1 Italian Restaurant in Hawaii! (Visa International 2008) Arancinos' authentic Naples dishes have simple presentations while the flavors and ingredients are nicely accentuated. The chefs use high quality cheeses, meats and pastas all the way from Italy! The menus' home-made dishes include Tiramisu, Focaccia Bread and Mushroom Risotto (which is finished table-side on a cart, inside of an imported block of Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese!) Everything that we've tried has been delicious. What can you say when they make their own pizza dough & pastas. We've tried almost everything on the menu...clams, anitpasto platter, the papaya & prosciutto platter, gorgonzola & apple pizza, the duck pizza, panna cotta, guavatini, & the risotto---they wheel out a half dome of parmesan reggiano to your table & scoop out your cheese for you!!! They also make their own foccacia bread--it's warm & yummy, they keep bringing out to your table! Their other restaurant serves the same menu & is better for big groups. Outdoor seating is great in the evenings, w/the tiki torches, they are both great people watching location.
