always check to see that your movers are licensed with the Hawaii State Public Utilities Commission. They can tell you anything over the phone like they are licensed and insured.

It is true some movers may claim to be licensed but they are not. However, businesses who advertise under "movers" need to provide proof of a moving license(PUC)in order to advertise under the heading "movers". As a result, most companies in the yellow pages are licensed. When in doubt about a buiness a reliable source that can be helpful is the Better Buisness Bureau, BBB.org
