Description:
The Honolulu Zoo is home to 1,230 mammals, birds and reptiles, including the African Savanna Habitat's Gunther's Dik-Dik monkey, African wild dog, and ferocious hippopotamus. The zoo is located south of the Ala Wai Golf Course, near Kapiolani Park. In the children's zoo, kids may enjoy petting and interacting with animals like a red-footed tortoise, a llama, and the always adorable pot-bellied pig.
